Noccalula Falls Park features a 90-foot waterfall named for a young Cherokee maiden that plunged to her death in order not to forsake her true love. Also included in the park is a pioneer village complete with log buildings displaying pioneer living conditions as well as other park attractions including a war memorial and museum, botanical gardens, sightseeing train, hiking trails and a picnic area. Located in north Gadsden, the park is conveniently close to town.
Open Feb - Mar: daily 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Apr - May: daily 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Jun - Sep: daily 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Closed Oct - Jan.
Adults $6; Seniors (55+) $4; Children (4-12) $3; Children under 4 are free.
