This would be a great place to shop except their "customer service department" consists of a pre-recorded message where you are asked to leave your name and number so someone can get back with you. No one returns your call, and they don't return emails either. The same is true with their sister company, Art Supply Warehouse. Often they are out of stock and never ship, or only ship a partial order with no credit for shipping charges on what wasn't in stock.

Jerry's has it all and at the best prices. Their new web site is amazing with free video art lessons and demo's. They have the largest selection anywhere of every possible material. I find things at Jerry's that are not available anywhere or are difficutl to find. If I have a question they are always there for me. I hightly recomend Jerry's.

This art store has had the best art supplies in the city! Jerry's has always kept up with the latest as well as the best quality paints, brushes, canvases, watercolor paper (of all kinds). Staff is great. Organized by mediums with examples of products to discover. If you need basic student grade or professional quality materials, it's available here. Discounts via e-mail or snail mail help off set the costs. You want be disappointed with the supplies here. K

I'm rating this store one star because there is false advertising here. This store (above) boasts it is "Serving the Alameda Area". No, it is not. According to their website they have 15 stores, NONE of which serve Northern CA at all, much less the Alameda area. This advertiser wasted my time.

Ya Jerry's Artarama is Horrible! Do not order from this company! They are imposible to get a hold of and then when you do they don't have the right information. Case in point, I had an order that never shipped. I called and they said that the warehouse lost my order form....so I said okay could you fix that and send it out as soon as possible...Still didn't ship days later. I called again they said it would ship soon...never shipped and I called again and they said it woul ship but not till the next day...so the next day it DID NOT SHIP. I called again and they told me that the items were on back order!!!!! After over 2 weeks of calling, I find out that this entire time the items have been on back order!!!! I have wasted 2 weeks waiting and time on the phone for items I now have to order from someone else. BEWARE the prices seem great ....but you will never get your order. I just don't know how to say how pissed I am right now!!!! DO NOT order from Jerry's Artarama!!!
